The Six Lath Supreme Kitchen Maid Clothes Airer provides
six laths on which to dry clothes.
This 50% increase in drying space over the Traditional Airer
is invaluable if you have the space in your kitchen, boot room, or
laundry. If you choose the longest lath length in the range then you
will have a total of
over
47 feet of hanging space. Cast in Style's clothes airers
are
classic
in their look. If you don't have a laundry room or you want a
decorative feature
in your kitchen or living room, you needn't hide the Six Lath Supreme
Kitchen Maid Clothes Airer away - it's a feature in itself, even when
retracted up to the
ceiling and not in use. The cast iron frame that holds the laths
(strips of wood) firmly in position are elegantly finished and
available in different finishes:

The clothes airer uses a
pulley
system
(hence the term pulley airer) to operate, which allows you to move the
clothes drier up and down as and when you need to use it. When you have
no clothes to dry, retract it right up where it
sits gracefully in the top twelve
inches from the ceiling. When you need it, the rope and
pulleys allow you to
drop
the clothes rack down for loading.
